This is some sad news from the Newark Courrier Gazette.
Reddout, Mike - Michael Thomas Reddout, 51, died November 21, 2007 at the Life Care Center in Winter Haven, Florida after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer. Michael was born March 17, 1956 in Bath, to Franklin and Nancy (Koby) Reddout. He was a graduate of Newark Senior High School in Newark, and worked for the Newark Developmental Center as a mental health aide. In 1992, he moved to Florida. Michael was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Morris and Henrietta Reddout, and his maternal grandparents, Timothy and Dorothea Koby, all of Naples, NY. He is survived by his parents; his brother, Jeffrey (wife, Brenda) of Winter Haven, FL; sister, Susan Matlock (husband John) of Clermont, FL; two nieces, Jordan and Paige Reddout; his uncle, Morris Reddout (wife Ann); aunts, Martha Reddout and Sally Carney (husband Bob); and cousins. Michael was a gentle soul who touched many lives. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. His family is appreciative of the kindness shown to Mike during his long illness. A memorial service will be held December 22, at 10:30 a.m. at Hope Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven, Florida.
